Meridian Buckhead Condominiums Overview
Meridian Buckhead has perhaps one of the most charming entrances and lobbies of any high-rise condo in Buckhead. As you walk through the front doors, you almost feel as if you’re stepping back into the 1930’s. You’re immediately greeted with an ornate fountain and an impressive chandelier that is steeped in art deco styling. As you walk past the fountain and a pair of patina-copper elevators towards the lobby, you’ll catch a glimpse of the grand lobby.
Ascending the stairs to the lobby, you’re greeted by a large sitting area that’s classically decorated in an open and airy way, and the 20-foot ceilings enhance the sense of grandeur. Detailed trim work and paneling accentuates the elevator lobby’s coffered ceiling and ornate, yet gentle, decorations. The 24-hour concierge is happy to point out there is also a library, formal meeting room, and European garden (just outside the lobby) that residents and guest can enjoy.
The woodwork, carpeting, flowers, and attention to detail all have a luxurious early 20th century feel, back when craftsmanship and detail were prized. They come together here to create a wonderful sense of timeless sophistication.
The hallways and elevator landings also reflect the clean and polished style of the early 20th century. Hallways and landings are gently lit by accent lights and the walls are decorated with framed drawings and paintings.
Meridian Buckhead Amenities
The amenities at the Meridian are interesting and quite nice. The 1st floor fitness center is well stocked with an assortment of weight machines, treadmills and free weights. Meridian Buckhead is also home to one of Atlanta’s only five authentic ASB Squash/Racquetball courts. The pool is located on the 18th floor of the building and has fantastic views of Sovereign and Realm Condominiums.
As I mentioned before, the lobby area also spills out into a very nice European garden that hosts multiple sitting areas and grilling stations. It also boasts a quaint little putting green.
Meridian Buckhead Location:
Meridian Buckhead is fantastically located directly across the street from Buckhead Grand and sits on top of the Buckhead Station shopping Mall. Given its location, and the fact that it has the lowest price per square foot in the area, as well as the lowest HOA ratios, this is arguably one of the best values in Buckhead.
If you’re looking for value in one of the most walkable sections of Buckhead, Meridian should certainly be on your list to visit.
