Dear Real Estate Agent, What Were You Thinking?

Okay, I’ve got a pet peeve, and it never ceases to amaze me how frequently I come across it, even in today’s market. I don’t understand how a homeowner could allow their agent to post hastily taken photos of their home that make it look like Boo Radley lives there.

The goal is to get top dollar for your home, right? Then why would you allow photos like these to be posted, and what does it say about your agent’s desire to help you achieve that goal?

If these photographs don’t speak for themselves, check out a short primer on why photography is so important when it comes to getting the most for your home.

That’s probably a great looking house. But you can’t blame the photographer because this is clearly Google Street View’s fault (check out the bottom of the photo).

I’m feeling queasy for some reason…

Just another beautiful day …in Beijing?

I’m guessing there’s no dishwasher?

So yeah….

I can’t make out if that’s a stain at the bottom of the photo, but it probably doesn’t matter…

This is a door. And yes, it was posted like this on the listing. But hey, looks like they’ve got a fish-eye lens.

I’m glad they used a flash to capture the detail…

Great Shower

So yeah, this again…

That, is a great looking corner.
